About Us
Our Vision
Friends of AWWA supports the Amputees and War-Wounded Association by ensuring women, children, and vulnerable individuals affected by the civil war in Sierra Leone have access to fundamental rights, including livelihood, education, and essential public health services.
Our Vision
Our vision is a future in which war affected communities in Sierra Leone are empowered, self sustaining, and supported by systems that protect health, education, and economic opportunity across generations.
Our Long Term Focus Areas

We raise funds to support community-driven programs that address urgent needs while also building long term stability. Our fundraising efforts prioritize transparency, accountability, and measurable impact so that every contribution creates meaningful change.
-
We work to improve access to essential health services, rehabilitation, and community based care for individuals and families affected by war. Our efforts focus on physical health, mental wellbeing, and long term recovery.
